“Unless the lord build the house, the builders labor in vain, Unless the lord guards the city, the watchman stand guard in vain”! Psalm 127:1

The above verse contains an important lesson which every person needs to learn in life! The lesson is that a Man cannot accomplish all things by himself. A stage comes where a man tries and tries and utterly fails again and again. He relies on his self folly and self sufficiency thinking that his own power,efforts,energy,money can bring him anything. He needs to learn the very important lesson that God is Sovereign One and any attempt made without his help is futile and devoid of any heavenly satisfaction! Unless he enables us to build the house, we cannot build it! Our own efforts will not get us anywhere if we do not have god’s favor and blessings! Our victory doesn’t depend on our might alone!

Our Victory depends on the Almighty God. The psalmist says in Psalms 90:17 that “And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands”. When we humble ourselves and surrender and look upon him for success, when every work that we do portrays him, he will establish the work of our hands. He will make our labor success when we involve him in everything! So Are you trying to persist in your own efforts? Or are you ready to look up to GOD to establish you in all your labors?
