You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3

 What are some things in life which steals our peace? Uncertainty of future, sickness, debts, relationships, people around us etc.. We lose our peace of mind when we face situations beyond our control. Often we attempt to fill this gap with pseudo peace like taking alcohol, drugs, unhealthy enjoyment etc.. We are tempted to consider alternatives that generate instant results when we face crisis. They can generate quick results, but they fade out eventually causing more issues. So where do you get perfect peace? True and Perfect Peace comes only from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Peace that is available through Jesus Christ can keep you at rest even in the midst of disaster and crisis. It may seem to you that he takes time, but his peace lasts forever. The Hebrew word for “steadfast” is “camak”(pronounced saw-mak) which means to lean-on-God. So all you need to do is to LEAN on him and keep TRUSTING him! He said he has given his peace which the world cannot give. He is control of your situation. So don’t worry! When you put your trust in him, you will have NO inner turmoil, NO frantic frenzy of activity, NO anxiety or worry, NO striving against other, NO competition or seeking to control. You will have A PERFECT INNER REST AND INNER QUIETNESS! Amen!
